Show Up and Write! - Writing Wisdom

Writing Wisdom: Show up and write! It sounds simple, but an essential part of writing is showing up and putting pen to paper. And I do mean pen to paper. Writing longhand connects you with your heart. Your hands on the keyboard engage that part of your brain that needs to edit and second guess your word choices or question your whole line of thought. The act of picking up your pen and putting words on the page is magic. You will put yourself in a place to receive words of inspiration and hope. Showing up and putting pen to paper, in other words, journaling, for just five minutes a day can start you towards a deeper connection to your writing and to your soul. Yes, I’m serious. Developing a writing practice of five minutes a day and showing up to let your hand move across the page will unleash the writer in you.

Your writing will reflect your distinctive voice so that your ideal readers will know you are a trusted resource and not something AI-generated content. The problem with all the current hype about the ease of AI-generated content is that it is NOT YOUR VOICE! In some cases you have no idea where the content originated.

I know I'm confident any content that I'm putting out there under my name is my own writing!
