Plant Your Seeds of Wisdom

Plant Your Seeds of Wisdom

What seeds are you planting on your unique life journey?

You don’t have to be a farmer to plant seeds. Every time you share your Soul Story, you’re planting seeds of inspiration—seeds that can grow into a legacy more meaningful than material things.

Legacy comes in many forms. It’s not just land or money passed down—it’s faith that runs deep, gratitude that grounds us, and a commitment to live with integrity, compassion, and love. When you share your Soul Story, you’re planting seeds of inspiration that bloom in the lives of those who hear it.

I come from a long line of farmers. Three generations have worked the land of our family homestead. My grandpa passed it on to my dad, and now my brother farms it with his own son.

🌾 The land is their legacy.

Meanwhile, my contribution to the family farm looked a little different. My sisters still laugh at how little help I was with the outdoor chores. My domain was inside—doing dishes, dusting, setting the table, and cleaning the bedroom I shared with my three sisters. (Yes, one room. No, not so much privacy.)

I did venture outside now and then—like when it was time to gather eggs from the chickens, although I never quite got the hang of it. Let’s just say, I ruffled feathers more often than not.

My big farm job? Driving the little blue Ford tractor during hay baling. It was nerve-wracking: I had to back it up a half block in a semi-straight line, threading the needle between a tree, the pump house, and our back porch. Honestly, that was the only time anyone trusted me with the tractor!

Back then, heading off to college wasn’t expected. A few kids had dreams of being doctors, teachers, or nurses—but for most of us, it was straight to work. I was nudged toward a one-year secretarial certificate. Being a writer? That felt out of reach. Not realistic and just plain impractical.

But you know what I’ve come to understand? Our legacy doesn’t begin with big, dramatic moments. It starts the moment we take our first breath. Every ordinary day, every small act of courage, every kind word—those are the seeds of our story. And when you tell your Soul Story, you’re planting seeds of inspiration for generations to come.

Your legacy isn’t the “stuff” you collect. It’s the way you treat people—with dignity, grace, and kindness. It’s how you show up in the world, even when things are tough. It’s how you keep your light shining, even on the darkest days. That’s what people remember. That’s what truly lives on.

My legacy? It’s sharing stories—mine, and helping others share theirs. Because when we speak our truths, we’re planting seeds of inspiration that grow into powerful, beautiful legacies.

So tell me…
How will
you be remembered?
🌻 For baking amazing birthday cakes?
🌻 For making your house feel like home?
🌻 For inspiring young minds to dream big?
🌻 For planting seeds of wisdom and nourishment for mind and body?
🌻 For speaking up for change?

Your Soul Story matters. Your life is the garden. Your legacy is what blooms from the seeds of inspiration you plant along the way.
