What Is Author Coaching?
Who is this for?
My clients come to me when they are overwhelmed about where to begin, what to say and how to make sense of the life-changing message they know they are here to deliver. I believe passionately everyone has a soul story of hope that the world needs to hear. I help my clients polish their words until their message sparkles and shines as a beacon of hope for those in search of a solution contained in my clients' message. !

Testimonials
"Mary connects heart to heart, soul to soul with women that have a story burning in them. She helps them unmute their voice so that their words are infused with their passion and the confidence flows through them to share their story.” L.Garris
"I had never considered myself a writer, however Mary has taught me we all have a story to tell. Her Writing Room is a safe place for me to go write for an hour every Tuesday. She helps us to relax and hear our inner voice and to get it on the page. I highly recommend that you check out Mary, especially because we all have a story to tell. When will you start yours?" Tina P.
"I hired Mary to write an article for me which was going to be in Coastviews Magazine. It was a beautiful article and is still linked on my website. Later she wrote my press release when I moved my business. When the need arises I will hire her again." - Antoinette

Love this Fabulous February
I love my life! It seems petty presumptuous to say that, and here I go saying it again. I love my life.
As I write this blog, I’m in a hotel room in Dallas getting ready to attend a Media Boot Camp to learn what I need to do to share my message with the world. And on the heels of the Boot Camp, Speakers Playhouse Live begins where I’ll be honing my speaker skills.
Who would have guessed that I would be pursuing a speaking career?
No guessing involved here.
Somehow, the Universe keeps opening doors for me. And I keep walking through them!
Hence, the journal keeper, who is has published her story and now mentoring others to publish theirs.
I’m thrilled that last year I had the privilege of launching the Written in Her Own Words-Wise Woman Series and over the moon that Vol. II is in the works.
I’m so excited that when I get home from my trip to Dallas, from Feb.16-19 I’ll be once again volunteering with Annual San Francisco Writers Conference. It’s been going strong for 19 years. I was at the first one at the Sir Francis Drake in San Francisco. My assignment that year was babysitting the purses in the Volunteer Lounge. That’s what I felt qualified to do. With the exception of illness and my mother’s passing, I’ve only missed three years of the conference. I’ve grown in confidence and expertise over the years.
This year I’m wearing the Consultation Coordinator hat, Speaker hat, and Independent Eidtor hat. On Friday, Feb.17, Nina Amir and I are presenting a breakout session on Blogging Basics. On Sunday, Feb.19, Geri Speiler, Diane Frank and I are sharing our knowledge about Anthologies/Co-Author books. And all during the conference, I’ll be once again meeting with attendees for their free 8-minute consultations. Hearing about the attendees writing projects has been the highlight over the years. It gives me so much joy to be a part of their writing journey.
This year, I’m excited to be hosting the Elite Women's Writing Retreat coming up on March 8 (International Women’s Day which combines my love of writing with the opportunity to explore creative activities. I can’t wait to lead this event and watch the writing magic happen before our eyes!
Now that I’ve gushed about loving my life and the writing that I’m doing. What about you?
February is indeed for lovers. That includes loving yourself, loving friends & family, doing what you love and celebrating that loving feeling!
I love my life! And I love that you are in it!
