Who is this for?
My clients come to me when they are overwhelmed about where to begin, what to say and how to make sense of the life-changing message they know they are here to deliver. I believe passionately everyone has a soul story of hope that the world needs to hear. I help my clients polish their words until their message sparkles and shines as a beacon of hope for those in search of a solution contained in my clients' message. !

Testimonials
"Mary connects heart to heart, soul to soul with women that have a story burning in them. She helps them unmute their voice so that their words are infused with their passion and the confidence flows through them to share their story.” L.Garris
"I had never considered myself a writer, however Mary has taught me we all have a story to tell. Her Writing Room is a safe place for me to go write for an hour every Tuesday. She helps us to relax and hear our inner voice and to get it on the page. I highly recommend that you check out Mary, especially because we all have a story to tell. When will you start yours?" Tina P.
"I hired Mary to write an article for me which was going to be in Coastviews Magazine. It was a beautiful article and is still linked on my website. Later she wrote my press release when I moved my business. When the need arises I will hire her again." - Antoinette

In a world where every day, week, or month seems to have a special designation—some whimsical like Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day, others sweet like National Candy Corn Day, and some profound like Breast Cancer Awareness Month—there’s often a deeper meaning behind the causes we highlight. For many, breast cancer is not just a cause but a personal reality, one that inspires courage, wisdom, and growth.
I’ve lived this reality. Since 2001, I have faced breast cancer three times. Each diagnosis brought new challenges, but it also became part of my Transformational Soul Story—a journey that has encouraged me to embrace life more fully and discover the strength within. What once seemed like a terrifying road has now shaped me into the woman I am today. And for that, I am grateful.
October has always been a special time for me, filled with crisp autumn air and the golden hues of leaves crunching underfoot. It also happens to be my birthday month, which adds to my fondness for this season. But in 2001, as my birthday cards arrived in the mail, I received a different letter—one that would change everything. My mammogram results showed an abnormality, marked by a simple red X, and my life took an unexpected turn.
The letter was cold and impersonal, delivering life-altering news with no comfort or guidance. I felt like just another statistic, another case file. The fear, confusion, and uncertainty were overwhelming. Why couldn’t I have received a phone call, a moment of human compassion? A voice to offer comfort, or at least wisdom, as I faced this terrifying news? It was in that moment, though, that I realized I had to draw on my own inner strength, to be my own source of encouragement.
Fast forward through 21 birthdays, three surgeries, two more letters, and finally a phone call—I’m still here. My journey has not been easy, but it’s taught me invaluable lessons. The medical professionals I’ve worked with have been extraordinary, and I have immense respect for their expertise. But I’ve also learned that my own recovery depended just as much on me—on discovering alternative healing methods and tapping into the creative outlets that inspired my healing. Creativity has been one of the most powerful tools on this path.
Breast cancer is only a part of my story, but it has inspired me to live with greater intention and gratitude. Here’s the thing: we all have a transformational soul story, a moment or series of moments that encourage us to grow, change, and evolve. Your story might not start with a diagnosis or a dramatic event. It could be something joyful—graduating from college, getting married, or the birth of your child. Whatever the event, it carries within it the wisdom to transform your life.
Our stories are a source of inspiration for others. They show the world that change is possible, that hope exists, and that we are all capable of growth. No one else has lived your life, experienced your challenges, or felt your triumphs. Only you know the exact moment when everything shifted—when you realized something had to change. And it’s that wisdom that makes your story worth sharing.
The life you choose to live should always be your own. Yes, I am grateful for my journey with breast cancer, as strange as that may sound. It has given me clarity on what truly matters—sharing my gifts, making a difference, and encouraging others to do the same. Don’t wait for a crisis to uncover your potential. Your story holds the power to inspire, uplift, and guide others.
If you’re ready to discover your own Transformational Soul Story, let’s talk. The world is waiting for the wisdom only you can share. Your story of hope and resilience is the inspiration someone else may need.
