New October Story
Growing up on a farm in southern Minnesota, I never could have imagined celebrating my 75th birthday as an author, speaker, and writing mentor. Yet here I am—living my dream! On October 3, 2025, I stood on stage at the Minneapolis Conference Center, speaking to more than 300 women who were eager to hear my story. What a thrill—and what a moment of full-circle joy!
This year has been overflowing with excitement and gratitude. In September, we launched Written In Her Own Words – Wise Woman Wisdom Vol. 2 as a #1 International Bestseller! The paperback edition will be out by Thanksgiving, and I couldn’t be prouder of the incredible women who said “yes” to sharing their Soul Stories. Guiding them to listen to that deep inner whisper—the one saying, “It’s time to tell your truth”—has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
October also brought another extraordinary milestone: stepping on stage at Celebration, the national conference for Polka Dot Powerhouse, a global sisterhood connecting women across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK. Sharing that stage with powerhouse women—including the founder herself—was pure magic. We dove into a topic that lights me up: Authenticity.
Because writing, at its core, is about choosing to be real. Vulnerable. Transparent. It’s scary, yes—but it’s also the gateway to freedom.
I am beyond grateful, humbled, and energized for what’s ahead: speaking on even bigger stages, mentoring more women to uncover their Soul Stories, and writing my next memoir.
Life keeps unfolding in beautiful, surprising ways.
