Writing Wisdom - Write with Faith
Faith in the invisible. Faith in the improbable. Faith in the intangible.
When you write, you are planting seeds the way a gardener gently places seeds in the earth. Your words are planting ideas to nurture the hope of others.
I get it. You may have been writing and don't feel that your words have not been having an impact. I get it. It can be discouraging.
Imagine your words are pebbles thrown into a pond. You don't know where the pebbles will land or how far they will travel. You can see the ripples in the water. You can see the ripples in the water. And you watch the ripples expand from a little circle to a medium size, then a giant circle, and much bigger circles. Eventually, you lose sight of how far the circles extend. Whether one stone or a few stones were thrown into a body of water. A physical reaction occurs. And as your words go out into the world, they, too, go on and on in much the same manner.
Now, your words could have that much of an impact as well. Yes, I'm sure they would. However, first you must share those words. Words that will nourish the imagination of the soul. Words to nurture the hope of others.
Create a story that lets your readers imagine themselves right there with you. A story that inspires them to take action that they didn't see themselves capable of doing.
Trust the quiet voice within. Have faith in yourself.
Write with Faith.
